So... I have windows xp, and I recieved the error when trying to unpack the files. I did however get the expandedsetup folder to appear on my desktop even after I recieved the error, so maybe it all unpacked fine? Can someone please confirm the size of the expandedsetup folder is 3.01 GB (3,239,963,196 bytes)?

Heres what I spits out for me in the cmd (I put my username in "USERNAME", of course):

C:\Windows\system32>oscdimg -b"C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\expandedSetup\boot\etfsboot.com" -h -u2 -m -lWIN_EN_DVD "C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\expandedSetup\" C:\7.iso

Hi lysol,

You did what who said?

Try this:

oscdimg.exe -u2 -b"C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\expandedSetup\boot\etfsboot.com" -lWIN_EN_DVD -h "C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\expandedSetup" C:\7.iso

Not everyone has the same file. There's a 32/64 versions as well as Home/Prof versions, all available via the student discount. Also, is that actual size or size on disk?

That sounds fine - go ahead.

There are only 32 or 64 bit . No such thing as Home Premium or Professional installation files - they are all the same. The key determines which Edition is installed.

Ok so i Rt clicked on the folder and ran it as admin - I get the Unloading Box Progress bar:

When it reaches the end of the progress bar I haer a error bell and this prompt appears on the screen:

We are unable to create or save new files in the folder in which this application was downloaded. Please check the folder properties to make sure that you have security permission on the folder to write files and that the folder is not read-only.

Is that normal?
I got the same error at the end of the uploading box progress. I went through options and set access to my account but the problem still occurs. I've tried to do the boot, it worked, but I'm afraid there will be missing files for the setup...
