    Hi Zanim,

    Scubasteve:
ISOs for the other three versions is fairly well known...and even documented in the (hidden) Gizmodo comments. View the story and click the "Show hidden threads" link.

BTW, I downloaded the 64 bit Pro ISO from Digital River and it mounts fine. Of course, the great instructions here already helped me make an ISO from the files that I originally downloaded from DR...so thanks!

well i perservered. basically when i 1st did the oscdimg it left me with a file that looked like a sheet of paper with a corner folded ..... n it was simply titled 'file' ..... i cud do nothing with it.

BUT like i said, i perservered n retried again, this time i copied what the person typed in2 cmd but removing the space in c:windows 7.iso .... so it read c:windows7.iso, SUCCESS!!!!

thank u, i am now runnin 32bit windows 7 pro flawlessly

just a question thats off topic slightly ...... how many machines can i run my version of 7 on??? cos im also runnin the rtm version on my master computer n id like 2 make it the real thing, but obviously only if it's legal n allowed
It is 1 license per machine. You can get a Family Pack - which is for 3 machines.

    Otherwise, you need another license.

Thanks for posting back and letting us know it worked out for you.

    Have Fun.

After days of trying ive finally cracked it.

To others who are as stupid as me, the exe file you intially download needs to be opened and then that launches the download of the three files you need to make a bootable dvd.

Hello everyone, i seem to be havin a little trouble creating an ISO with student D/L Windows 7 pro 64 bit i followed the instructions from the link
Make bootable iso from student d/l
downloaded the OCSDIMG file and put it into my windows system32 folder
ran the cd /d C:\windows\system32, succesfully.

    ran the oscdimg -u2 -b"C:\Documents and Settings\David\Desktop\expandedSetup\boot\etfsboot.com" -h "C:\Documents and Settings\David\Desktop\expandedSetup" C:\7.iso and when i hit enter i get
ERROR could not delete file "ubC:\expandableSetup\boot\etfsboot.com"
error 123:the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.
and takes me back to a C\windows\system32 prompt.
am i missing something here, i am going to reboot and try it again
    thanks in advance

I purchased the 64 bit upgrade today at the discounted price from win741.com, and now it gives you an option to just download the .iso instead.

Well, you download the download manager, which downloads the .iso, but ya know what I mean
