| | Hello Chrysalis, After you uncheck the box to turn off ClearType, see if restarting the computer afterwards may help. |

| | makes no difference but after changing the font type in the advanced appearance options I have removed nearly all cleartype, also set cleartype gamma to 0 in the registry. |

| | yep, I will eventually probably at least turn some cleartype back on, this is been done on this machine whilst I investigate 2d performance issues on this machine. |
