I've reset everything in the POWER PLAN to either DISABLE, OFF or NEVER so I shall see when I re-boot.

Thanks for your help.

I tried this from within a "standard user" account. It does not work. It needs to be done from within an administrator account to work. FYI

Oh That's just general information for everyone to know. I didn't see it in the tutorial.

Have a good day.

Can you please explain how this option works on a pc with two user accounts? I'd like the ability to auto login to a specific user, but still allow the second user to login as needed. Is there some sort of time delay prior to auto login?

Thanks

Hello Jaminator,

Sorry, but this option only allows for the one selected user account to be automatically logged on to at startup. The only way the other user can log on with this option enabled is to either "Switch User" (Start Menu) from with the other account and log on, or log off the other account and log on.

With two users that both need to log on often, it may be best to not have automatic log on enabled.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
