Hello Jan,

No. This will only affect any system files that you replace.

It really depends on what was found corrupted in the sfcdetails.txt file from the SFC scan, and if you are having an issues or not. If it's to much that is bad, then a repair install should take care of it, but be sure to read the yellow TIP box in the repair install tutorial for what may be affected. As usual, it's best to backup anything that you do not want to lose first to be safe.

Hope this helps.

Hello Jan,

You would need to "unblock" the files first, then copy and paste from the desktop only the files that need to be replaced from your SFC log.

Jan,

Your CBS log doesn't have any SFC entries in it. Please go ahead and run another SFC scan, and post back with your sfcdetails.txt file.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Jan,

Did you try to add Group Policy to your Windows 7 Home Premium?

Those are the files that it found to be corrupted and having a hash mismatch. Since your edition doesn't include Group Policy, that would be why.

Adding Group Policy is not going to work.

Yes, i installed Group Policy long time ago, i thought it would run fine but it did not run, i already uninstalled it that time. So you didnt see corrupted default system files on my CBS log? What are the group policy files that you have seen on my SFC log? Can i manually delete them?
