| | Hello Shadilami, and welcome to Seven Forums. Without the recovery key, you're pretty much out of luck on being able to access the HDD without taking the HDD to a expert data recovery shop. If you did step 6, you could use it to regain access to the HDD. |

| | I'm sorry to hear that. Without the recovery key or password to access or unlock the removable drive, you're out of luck. You might be able to recover them by having a professional data recovery service attempt to, but it most likely will not be cheap if they are able to.  The HDD could be formatted to be able to use it again, but you will lose what is on it. |
