Hello Spinalvine, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It's a false positive since it makes changes to a system file. The program is 100% completely safe and malware free.

Hello Sery, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you uninstall both Personalization Panel and Personalization Panel DWN controller in Programs and Features (control panel), then everything the program changed would be undone the next time you log off and log on or restart the computer. Your desktop will return to the default Windows 7 Starter background, and you will lose the Personalize option when you right click on the desktop.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Dear ...

I registered today because I just wanted to post my THANK YOU! I was so sad when I found out after I bought my netbook & Windows 7 starter that i couldn't change the desktop background. But thank's to this website and the super accurate clear instruction, now I can change my desktop background and even display them into a slideshow! I am so happy !! And I'm not mad at myself anymore for buying the'wrong' product.

    Thank you very much again!

PAY ATTENTION TO COLOR SCHEME YOUR USING !!!!

I found the answer for those who have tried just about everything.
I did every single option mentioned in this forum but as with many others, when my desktop icons started to appear, my desktop background photo would disappear. And this was all done after a complete system reboot after the crappy HP harddrive on my brand new Mini 210 died.
After 2 hours of screwing around, I found out that the computer recovered using the Windows Color Scheme 'Windows Classic'.
    YOU MUST CHANGE THIS !
YOU MUST BE USING 'WINDOWS 7 BASIC' COLOR SCHEME FOR THE OCEANIS PROGRAM TO WORK !
SO GO TO YOUR CONTROL PANEL, Appearance, Display -- then look for 'change color scheme' on left side of screen. Click on it.
A new window will open which will allow you to see what color scheme your using or would like to use.
