If it's a 32-bit CPU, then you will not be able to install 64-bit Windows 7 on it. Plus, with only 2GB of RAM, you would be better off with 32-bit Windows 7 installed on it.

What's the CPU brand and model number?
Too bad. I can't remember. I haven't turn it on for a long time already.

    Here is my system specification:
    RAM: 3GB DDR2 SDRAM
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.8GHz
    Hard Drive: Western Digital 80GB x 2=160GB.

Currently I am running Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate x86, it is working nicely.
What there will be any performance difference between x86 and x64? I am planning to install Windows 7 x64.

Hello qwpk313, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Since you only have 3GB of RAM, I would recommend to stick with 32-bit Windows 7. I wouldn't even think about 64-bit unless you had at over 4GB of RAM. You won't see any difference, and 64-bit may run slower with only 3GB of RAM.

    Thanks for quick reply.
My another question: What you say about Windows 8.1? I am not going to Windows 10, because its spying or telemetries.

I'd say Windows 10 is better, and not to believe the nonsense you hear about it spying on you. All that has been based on a misunderstanding of anonymous data collected from Windows Insiders to help make Windows better, and Cortana using information to better assist you with. Cortana can be turned off. Etc....
