Thanks for the help Brink, this might fix wireless problems: if not I will call Virginmedia, if that fails, I could try replacing Network cards.
Cheers Joe.
No. It doesn't work Brink.
I repeat what I have done.
1. Clean
2. Create partition primary size=152725
3. Assign letter=C
4. Active
5. Format fs=NTFS Label="Local Disk" Quick
6. Exit and Exit
Then I go to system recovery to do Re-Image. Same error massage: No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found
Then I go to BIOS to change the boot priority to set HDD as first. Yet still the same error.
What is wrong??
What happens if you try this:
clean
create partition primary size=152725
select partition 1
assign letter=C
active
format fs=ntfs quick
exit
Hi Brink, it worked but now there is no Operating System and for some reason my External Disk Drive is broken (hardware not software) and it is a Netbook, so does not include DVD Drive, any ideas?
Joe,
If your netbook as a USB port, then you could create a Windows 7 installation USB flash drive on another computer to use to install Windows 7 with instead.
Brink
It still don't work. I have tried both ,method one with active and one without active. It still failed to detect the disk.
What other area you can think about is not set probably?
Do you think the jumper at the HDD have to set as Master or cable something? But it already shown in BIOS that HDD is primary disk. Still don't understand what went wrong.

cmlow,
Do you have another computer (friends perhap) that you could connect the HDDs to, and try to format them from within their Windows?
