    This program ROCKS!!!!
I believe that is a fair assessment of the unmatched awesomeness of this program

Not sure what's wrong here but I ran it and chose a new pic for my logon screen and it didn't change after a reboot.

Now when I try to run it again I get the "....has stopped working" type popup.

Addendum: Ignore...I used an image that was too large.
how large was the image? ^^
anyway, it should not have crashed... I will try with large images to see if I can reproduce the problem.

if you're talking about my program, then thank you ^^

I'm going to create other apps with that kind of user interface, once I'll be able to make this one run smoothly on low end graphic cards.

    can you go to "C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info\backgrounds"
    and tell me:
    -if the folder exists
-if there are files inside, how many, and if you can see them all with a picture viewer (or if some of them are corrupted or have a 0 byte size)

a solution could be to delete the backgrounds folder content

Actually I withdrew that part of the post as I realised that the image was only 128kb and definately a .jpg.

Still doesn't work with that or any other image, I get that error.

I agree, it's an impressive programme. I just wish I could get it to work. I wonder what is causing the error?

Just spotted this post...I'll give it a try when I've finished what I'm doing here in Vista.

Success, thank you for your help! Two of the backgrounds in there were zero bytes and couldn't be displayed. I deleted the lot. Now it works.

I think I failed to wait until the process had completed the first time before I signed out to test it.

    Thanks again. A great programme!

I have one suggestion. When I choose a folder (my pictures) it picks everything in there, a lot of which is not good enough. It would be great if one could pick an individual item from that folder.

Nevertheless the programme is brilliant, thanks.

Very nice program! Can't wait for your others!

One feature that is missing is a "Test" button. Could that be added?
