The problem seen with ones like LogonStudio is always rushing back to their 300 page inventory to look over the limited selection there. You must download from there! You know what I say to that don't you?!

You are correct Brink, I didn't know that. However it's easy to put back (just run the tool again and change it back.) I don't change my themes often... if ever, so it's not a big deal to me but if I did change themes alot this would not be viable and I would prefer a more permanent change. It's possible they will make changes to the app that will make it more permanent, who knows? Only they do I guess, heheh.

And yeah, StudioLogon... I never was a fan.
The important part is that your happy with it. :)

This was a great find premature of the actual working feature that will be seen in the RTMs as time goes on. Ever get sick of that same old splash screen or wish to put something like a family photo in place the usual? Now you can do it without fuss or worry!

The download will see the new entry creates for you with a simple double click on that. The sub folders still have to be manually created at times however to insure those are there.

    Hello again Murphy.

Asking questions in this tutorial is OK, Brink was just pointing out that there's a thread to post pics of the logon screens that people are using, you can access it at the link below.

    Post your Start-up screen

Hi Shawn..... i gotta a little problem sorting the boot screen out

i followed the instructions & ended up here

    Log On Screen - Change-shawn...jpg

the ''info'' & ''backgrounds'' folders did not exist, the default image was just sitting in the ''oobe'' folder....so i created the said folders, placed the desired image in there along with the default, but it has not changed...

i must have taken a wrong turn.....
