restart time ....

my restart time is 97 seconds what kinda crap is that
how can I change this?, i am running the RC 7100, 64 bit, with 4gb of ram and dual 1.9 gb processors it should be a smokin fast restart, It was faster with Vista Honestly I am a noob what affects restart time?

Hello RbHurd, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Please fill in your system specs to help us determine what may be the issue.
  • Do you have a laptop or Desktop?
  • Do you have your motherboard chipset drivers installed?
  • Was anything else running?
The script only triggers the same restart used in the Start Menu. If you click on Restart (in arrow menu) in the Start Menu, do you still have this same shut down problem?

Haha... MadTown, I think you're a bit early for April Fool's day there.

I only just found this now, but my Windows 7 PC is at home and I'm at work, I'll have to try this tonight and see what happens. I estimate about a 60 second turn around time? We'll see...

Edit: Actually, I'll post my results over here, looks like this thread is just for the restart tool...
