Thanks,
Jim This raises the question could older images be questionable? I like to keep some older images back to when I did a clean install. I don't believe it is the image that is the problem otherwise they would have said. | My System Specs |

@Jim, You are very welcome.
@Gary, Yes, there seems to be a little problem - looks like a connection problem. I had to try a few times before it started downloading. But then it worked. I right click on the file > Download.
@Mike, I assume it works on older images, but I have not tried it. But in any case, I always keep my older WinPE discs - just in case. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

There is one here: https://skydrive.live.com/#cid=B0A22...89320E3247!345
The .iso is inside the single rep.7z file.
It has one or two minor little extra functions. | My System Specs | | OS Vista x64 / 7 X64 CPU E8400 Motherboard ASRock 1333 GLAN R2.0 Memory 2x1 gb 800mhz Graphics Card 9500gt 1gb Case Coolermaster Cooling Winpower 500w Hard Drives Maxtor 160gb-2mb cache |

Cloning in Macrium isn't as it should be, I cloned a windows partition from the source to the target and when I tried to boot windows into the target drive I got this error; Quote: The Boot failed because a required device is inaccessible (Status: 0xc000000e) The boot priority is set as the target drive. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows8 CPU Core2Quad (2.6 Ghz) Motherboard nVidia 775 Memory 8 Gigs DDR2 Graphics Card Geforce 480 (1.5 gigs) Sound Card Motherboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays 22" Samsung LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU 850 Watts Hard Drives 120 Gig SSD

I had a problem with macrium cloning , too.
It kept booting into the original.
I now use the "copy partition" in Paragon - perfect. | My System Specs | | OS Vista x64 / 7 X64 CPU E8400 Motherboard ASRock 1333 GLAN R2.0 Memory 2x1 gb 800mhz Graphics Card 9500gt 1gb Case Coolermaster Cooling Winpower 500w Hard Drives Maxtor 160gb-2mb cache |

One possible explanation is that the cloning operation is copying the disk signature (in the MBR) of the drive you are cloning from. When both drives are connected you will get a disk clash and the 2nd (cloned) drive will go offline.
What happens if you disconnect the first drive and leave the cloned drive then try to boot? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Own build (+ Recased Acer Aspire x1800) OS Windows 7x64 Home Premium SP1 x 2 CPU Intel i7 2600k Motherboard ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Memory G.Skill Ripjaws (DDR3-1600) 2x4GB Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GTS 450; Intel HD Graphics 3000(GT2+) Monitor(s) Displays Dell Ultrasharp IPS panel U2311H, Samsung SyncMaster P2350 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK520 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK520 PSU Seasonic M12II 520W Case Lian Li Lancool PC-K60 Cooling Case: 1x120mm, 3x140mm CPU: Hyper 212+ Hard Drives Crucial M4 128GB (000F), Seagates 1TB Barracuda ST31000528AS + Internet Speed 6-7 Mbps Antivirus Norton NIS, Malwarebytes on 2 (MSE on 3rd PC) Browser FireFox Other Info Audio: Logitech Z523 2.1 |

Rescue ISO I thought at one stage the free Macrium allowed you Rescue ISO directly. I use the WAIK but can only burn a CD/DVD or use a USB. I can make the ISO from the DVD but I thought you could do it directly? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Own build (+ Recased Acer Aspire x1800) OS Windows 7x64 Home Premium SP1 x 2 CPU Intel i7 2600k Motherboard ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Memory G.Skill Ripjaws (DDR3-1600) 2x4GB Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GTS 450; Intel HD Graphics 3000(GT2+) Monitor(s) Displays Dell Ultrasharp IPS panel U2311H, Samsung SyncMaster P2350 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK520 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK520 PSU Seasonic M12II 520W Case Lian Li Lancool PC-K60 Cooling Case: 1x120mm, 3x140mm CPU: Hyper 212+ Hard Drives Crucial M4 128GB (000F), Seagates 1TB Barracuda ST31000528AS + Internet Speed 6-7 Mbps Antivirus Norton NIS, Malwarebytes on 2 (MSE on 3rd PC) Browser FireFox Other Info Audio: Logitech Z523 2.1 |

What happens if you disconnect the first drive and leave the cloned drive then try to boot? When I disconnect the first drive and leave the cloned drive, I get the error I posted. I was informed I have to restore a image of the partition or the drive because of UUID. Cloning doesn't work as it should. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows8 CPU Core2Quad (2.6 Ghz) Motherboard nVidia 775 Memory 8 Gigs DDR2 Graphics Card Geforce 480 (1.5 gigs) Sound Card Motherboard Audio Monitor(s) Displays 22" Samsung LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU 850 Watts Hard Drives 120 Gig SSD

Are you using the latest version of macrium. The previous version had a problem with writing the mbr correctly. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Hewlett-Packard/G62-107SA Notebook OS Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz Motherboard Hewlett-Packard 1425 Memory 8 GB DDR3 Graphics Card Intel(R) HD Graphics Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Builtin Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 x 32 bits (4294967296 colors) @ 60 Hz Mouse Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 Hard Drives 250 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive 7200 rpm
