Hello Wrathchild, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Which OS was installed first?

Do you have a XP entry at boot? If not, did you do step 8 on in Method Two to add XP with EasyBCD?

If you do have a XP entry, and it just will not give you time to select it, then see if increasing the time in the tutorial below may be able to help while in Windows 7.

Could you post screenshots of what you have in the screenshot in step 14 for the Edit Boot Menu and View Settings button in EasyBCD?

Wrathchild,

In your top screenshot, select and delete the "Microsoft Windows XP" entry, then start over at step 8 in Method Two to see if may just be some mistake that was made somewhere. Be sure to have the Automatically detect correct drive box checked when doing steps 9-13 though.

The slipstream did the trick
Then hooked the ssd back up and changed the boot order for the ssd to be #1 and it will boot into either one now.....

The days and days of reinstalling games. Sigh

At least I installed all my Steam games while trying to get this damn thing to work. So that's about 10 games out of say 150 or so.

Wrathchild: Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu - attach file to your post using Paper Clip in reply box. Tell us what is located where.

scgt1: With Windows 7 backup imaging, reinstalls are a thing of the past! Be sure to save your image externally just after everything is set up and running great, but before corruption begins creeping in. Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

I've asked for this other problem in the apposite section 'cause seems that the secondary Hard Disk is detected occasionally... :-P When i reboot my computer some time there is and other time no.. Other time can disappear also when i open EasyBcd or when i open the disk from My Computer folder...
Maybe this is the problem...
