Thanks a lot . This topic is goooooood !!!!
Really helpful .
Of course I had some problems cause I didn't use the command prompt.
When I used this
Type in these comands below, and press enter after each one.- bootrec /FixMbr
- bootrec /FixBoot
- bootrec /RebuildBcd
everything went OK
The first 3 tries were bad . Windows XP wouldn't start. So did Windows 7. So , I installed Windows 7 in the new partition , too .
I could enter the new boot menu , 2 Windows 7 choices (very strange) were there and one Window XP choce too , but unfortunately , when I chose XP , I couldn't continue the installation because it was an
OEM version and I didn't have the key.
After this , I entered my regular Windows 7 OS . I formatted the XP partition and then I installed the proper Windows XP .
After installing windows XP , I inserted the windows 7 DVD , I used the commads you gave here and everything works perfect now .
It's a bittersweet feeling because I had to reboot the PC again and again and again. So many times that makes me sad . BUT I DO HAVE 2 OS NOW !!! THANKS!!!
