problem with adding accelerators

I have tried to add accelerators from the IE8 accelerator page. Nothing happens when I click on the Add To Internet Explorer button. I have checked all of my settings and options and nothing jumps out at me as far as errors. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help supplied.

Hello Sparhawk, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Not sure if it will be the same in XP SP3 or not, but did you do everything that was in this tutorial below instead to add an accelerator?

Adding accelerators

Thank you for the replies. I do run SP3. I had run through all of the steps a number of times trying to add more of them, but every time I pressed the button to add the accelerator nothing would happen. IE8 started to act quite bizarre so I just went ahead and uninstalled and re-installed it. Now everything is working fine. Thanks again for all of the replies.
