 Featured Tutorial | | | How to Enable or Disable the Zoom Level Option in Internet Explorer  Information This will show you how to enable or disable either the current user or all users to be able to use the Internet Explorer Zoom level option to enlarge or reduce the view of a webpage from 10% to 1000% in Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.  OPTION ONE 
Using a REG File Download
1. To Enable Zoom in Internet Explorer for All UsersA) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below.Enable_All_Users_Internet_Explorer_Zoom.reg  B) Go to step 5. 2. To Disable Zoom in Internet Explorer for All UsersA) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below.Disable_All_Users_Internet_Explorer_Zoom.reg 
3. To Disable Zoom in Internet Explorer for Current User OnlyA) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below.Disable_Current_User_Internet_Explorer_Zoom.reg  B) Go to step 5. 4. To Enable Zoom in Internet Explorer for Current User Only NOTE: This will not enable the all users option (step 2) if applied. You will need to use step 1 if you used step 2.A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below.Undo_Disable_Current_User_Internet_Explorer_Zoom.reg 
5. Save the .reg file to the desktop. 6. Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it. 7. Click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC-Windows 7/8) or Continue (UAC-Vista), Yes, and OK when prompted. 8. For current user only option, close and reopen Internet Explorer, if already opened, to apply. 9. For all users option, log off and log on, or restart the computer to apply. 10. When done, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.
 OPTION TWO 
Through the Local Group Policy Editor
1. Open the all users, specific users or groups, or all users except administrators Local Group Policy Editor for how you want this policy applied. 2. In the left pane, click/tap on to expand User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and Internet Explorer. (see screenshot below) 3. In the right pane, double click/tap on Turn off page zooming functionality to edit it. (see screenshot above) 4. To Enable Internet Explorer Zoom for All Users A) Select (dot) either Not Configured or Disabled. (see screenshot below step 6) NOTE: Not Configured is the default setting. B) Go to step 6. 5. To Disable Internet Explorer Zoom for All Users A) Select (dot) Enabled. (see screenshot below step 6) 6. Click/tap on OK. (see screenshot below) 7. Close the Local Group Policy Editor window. 8. Close and reopen Internet Explorer if already opened. That's it,
