Me too, now that I think about it. Since I have the 64bit version installed as well, I suppose that that might be the issue....

I don't think you can even choose which BIT version to run. Although Win95 is less tha 32BIT

Correct. VB automatically adjusts to either 32 or 64 when you begin install. The 32 and 64 bit versions used to be separate, but a few releases ago, VB became just one version.

Perhaps the 32 bit emulates Win 95?...

I tried installing Windows 95 but it freezes when setup.exe starts. I think I'll just install Windows NT 4.0 instead.

Make sure Windows 95 machine is highlighted then click on settings. In settings click on system on the left and then click on acceleration tab on the right. Disable VT-x/AMD-V.

Click on system on the left. In the processor tab untick enable pae/nx.

Make sure video memory is 8mb.

    Make the hard drive 504mb

are you saying that your isp doesnt provide you with dns ips? If they do not then try OpenDNS.com.

The VT-x/AMD-V option in VirtualBox can't be changed or somehow unavailable in the settings page. But when I look over the virtual machine summary, it displays that the feature is "Enabled".

Check bios to see if it needs enabling.
