My usb wifi work on XP very well. therefore I perefer to use xp mode on win7.

I have wifi adsl modem and shoul connect via usb wifi from desktop pc. I would like to share internet connection from windows virtual pc to my host desktop pc. I tried loopback NIC but I couldnt complete. I concern right solutions to share my internet connection on my VP to host pc.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi there
the hardware MUST WORK on the HOST machine. If the USB WiFi device fails on the W7 X-64 host machine then your VM won't have Internet connectivity.

The HOST USB driver must be active before you can use the USB device on your VM.

Another example I have a Canon 1240 scanner which won't work on W7 but it Will work on an XP VM since the Virtual USB driver on the host just "passes this through" to the VM.

A Network device is slightly different as you MUST have a physically working Network device on the host before you can activate the "Virtual Network" device on the VM.

So I'm afraid you will either have to get a new W7 X-64 compatable WiFi device or install W7 X-86.

    Cheers
