    Xp Mode - Multiple Profiles.

I am using XP Mode in a work environment connected to the domain and such. So I installed XP Mode on the local_admin account and installed the necessary apps in the xp mode. Now when the user logged in, her xp mode didn't have all the apps that were installed on the local_admin profile. Is there a way to "copy" all the necessary apps and files to the user's profiles? I am asking this cause I work in Toronto, and I sent the workstation to Vancouver so me installing the app all over again is not an option. Since the app resides on our servers here in Toronto.

    Thanks,

Yes, I'm actually doing the same thing right now.

What you need to copy is this

1- The "Windows XP Mode.vmcx" file that is located in C:\Users\username\Virtual Machines
Copy it from the local admin profile to the profile of the user who is going to be using the machine

2- The "Windows Virtual PC" folder located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft
Same thing, copy the folder from the local admin to the user.

However one thing I noticed is that the user who will be using the virtual machine should be a local admin on both the physical and virtual. I'm still playing around with it to see how can I do it without the user being admin at least on the physical machine.

    Hope that helps.
