| | WinXP Mode AntiVirus? Does WinXP Mode need an antivirus software if my Windows 7 already has one installed? I'm asking this cause it doesn't seam like XP mode recognizes that I have antivirus running on Windows 7. And also cause when downloading stuff in XP Mode, the network icon in the notification area shows activity, but the network icon in Windows 7 shows no activity...as if virtualization REALLY split the network adapter too! Thanks. |

| | Hello NoDoze, and welcome to Seven Forums. If you have the XP Mode VM using the network, then yes it will need to have a antivirus program installed on it as well since they are treated as two separate OS's. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | okie dokie... I also noticed that drivers were missing...like the vid card, and a couple "unknowns"... Does that mean I have to load drivers too? |
