I don't know what you are trying to do with VHDs, but you don't "get" them. You make them. Go into Disk Management (where you can see all drives and partitions) and on the right side you will see More Actions. Click on it and select Create VHD.
That just creates, essentially, a partition within a partition. This would allow you to install another OS on it, or use it as a lock box, etc.

well that adds the VHD so you can see what all is there. Then if you made an image of that uncompressed VHD then save the image as install.wim
you can then copy that into the old uncompressed ISO and have a newer updated version. That is also how i went from 7106 to 7229 to 7231 to 7260. Then upgraded to 7264. You might want to add this portion.
And YES, YOU CAN GET THEM .. THAT IS THE WAY MICROSOFT ALLOWS SOME PARTNERS TO UPGRADE.
They use to only send small.exe packages with which we slipstreamed that into Whistler.
