Unable to run Virtual PC (XP MOde)

I could used to run xp mode with no problem, however i now get the following error message when i attempt to start it up.

''Cannot start Windows Virtual PC while another virtualisation software is running. Please close the other virtualisation software and try again''

I have no other virtualisation software running.

I have tried the following to no avail....

Boot into the BIOS on the host computer and confirm that hardware virtualization is still enabled

    Turned of xp mode hibernation

    Redownloaded xp mode

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Oni welcome to SF.

    Can you please:
1.Open Task Manager (CTRL-SHIFT-ESC) and click the "processes" tab.
    2. Click "Show Processes from all users"
    3. Take a screenshot using snipping tool (search for it in the start menu) and post it on here.

Well your right... you do have no other virtualisation software, unless Itype is causing an issue... but I doubt it.

When did the issue start? if recently, a System Restore might fix it for you.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling XP Mode?
