Creating a second instance of XP mode

Hind sight is always a good thing isn't it? Not when you realize "I should have done that."

This is the situation that I'm in. I'm running Windows 7 x64, have install XP mode, and have it working great. Everything updated, all my XP only software installed, etc.

Now comes the kicker, before I installed anything, I should have made a backup of of the "virgin" XP... As it turns out, for some testing purposes, I need to set up a machine without any of the software, updates, etc. installed. When I realized this, I was hoping to setup another instance in this "virgin" state. Hindsight, I should have made a backup of the virtual disks.

So, does anyone know of away to do this, without having to uninstall and reinstall XP mode again? Thoughts, comments, ideas?

    Thanks,
    Xyst

FWIW: I have successfully copied the xp virtual drive by just copying the .vhd to another directory and then
go to virtual pc and creating a new machine. Telling the system that I will use a vhd already created. It then creates the ancillary files necessary to use and modify the new virtual xp.

but then I run windows 3.11, 2000, 98 and xp all under virtual PC..
I always copy the .vhd files off to an external drive as a sort of warm fuzzy.
