Our favourite website *wzor has a Vmware Workstation 7 Technical Preview for us to try out.

good post...Thanks for the info.
also , you can install your windows 7 ( RTM or RC ) onto Vmware Workstation 6.5 but image name looks like vista OS.(sure you can rename to Windows 7 or windows Windows 7 etc. )

I Haven't had the time to test it yet. Has anyone tested this yet? does it work, is it stable enough. how about the resources its using.

Running 7.0.0 build-197124 on Windows 7 Ultimate RC x64 and RTM x64.

It runs great on both machines and didn't break any VM I had. Also the two previous beta worked just as well.

It's always faster to test yourself

Probably not. I haven't seen any beta invites and the development of VMware Server is quite slow anyways.
