| | Welcome to SevenForums. Try accessing the bios and check the virtualization settings. You don't say in your system specs what brand it is, but try the F2 key during boot. |

| | Hopefully you mean server 2008 R2 - Hyper-V is (until Windows 8) server-only. VirtualPC is the virtualization software from Microsoft designed to run on Windows 7 client OSes. |
