Windows 98SE & Integrated Devices - Possible?

Hi. I just managed to get Windows 98SE installed on a VPC on my Windows 7 Professional system, and it works fine, with one exception. Namely: I can't get the Integration feature to work so I can access my installed devices.

Now, I know I'm playing with an officially "unsupported" configuration, but I was wondering if anyone out there has figured out a way to get it to work (ethically). (Oh, and please be kind - I spent 20 years in the IT field, but that ended more than 10 years ago, so I'm still re-learning the basics of the new OS's and apps.)

My computer doesn't support hardware-assisted virtualization, so I have installed microsoft vpc 2007 and run the virtual machine additions. I have win 7 32 bit home prem. I mostly use share on the win98se to move between host
and vpc. I've made a folder on the host and set it to share and that folder is drive z on the win98se. I can move files
back and forth, I also set drive Y on the win98se to share a flash drive on the host, all seems to work well.
