Windows XP Mode more faster Hi guys,
i have installed the Windows XP mode and Windows Virtual PC softwares.
I have added an Dos program and made a shortcut in the Automatic Execution folder of the Windows 7 64 Bit.
The program runs perfectly when i load the windows 7 but it takes a long time to be execute.
Is there any possibility to run it more faster mybe adding additional comands or
maybe setting somwhere some parameters?
Thanks in advance for help.

Enzo Your system specs are fine. Most of your problem I'll bet is the Microsoft Virtual PC software you are using to run XP Mode. Microsoft Virtual PC is JUNK.
I run XP Mode using VM Lite. (It's a Free download after joining their forum, also free.) VM Lite was actually designed to run XP Mode as an alternative to Virtual PC. It runs XP mode better and faster with full integration than Virtual PC can. It was actually designed because Virtual PC did such a poor job of running XP Mode. http://www.vmlite.co/index.php?optio...=47&Itemid=128
After you install XP Mode using VM Lite you will see a huge performance boost. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Compaq Presario CQ61 411WM OS Windows 7 64bit Home Premium Enhanced CPU 2.1GHz AMD Sempron M120 Processor Motherboard Hewlett-Packard 363F with Insyde Software F.13 Bios Memory 2x 2048MB 400.0 MHz PC2-6400 DDR2-SDRAM Micron Tech (4Gig) Graphics Card ATI Mobility RADEON HD4200 336 MB DDR2 share 1.2 Gigs 494Mhz Sound Card ATI SB600-IDT High Definition Audio Controller Monitor(s) Displays AUO B156XW01 V2 15.6 in 1366x768 @ 60Hz Aspect Ratio 16:9 Hard Drives Hitachi HTS725025A9A364 250 GB 7200 RPM |

Don't bother. VM Lite is even worse--It defines junk. At least MS-VMXP supports peripherals. The delay you're seeing is the boot-up of XP. (It's a separate machine.) If you start it after you boot Windows 7 and let it say, everything on XP runs like a rabbit. And, you can use devices like USB thumb drives, external drives and the CD/DVD. Plus you don't need to load a new version every week. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built 2/11/2011 OS Windows 7 Pro-x64 CPU i7-2600 3.4GHz - 3.8GHz Turbo Motherboard Intel DH67BL-B3 Memory 8Gb - 2x4GB, Muskin 991770 PC3-1333 Graphics Card Integrated Intel HD 2000 Sound Card Integrated Intel 10.1 HD, RealTek ALC892 Monitor(s) Displays Asus LCD VH222H, Haier HL24XSL2a Screen Resolution 1920x1080, 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech EX100 Wireless Mouse Logitech EX100 Wireless PSU Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Modular Case Rosewill Defender Cooling Stock CPU, Four 120mm case fans, PCH fan added Hard Drives Crucial C300-128Gb,

Please can you warn people that using VM lite could be breaking the law - not only is the origin (or provenace) of this program "questionable" it also appears to use "proprietary software" for which it is totally unlicensed for.
I'm not normally nasty but this whole vmlite nonsense needs to be sent back to the dark hole it originally emerged from.
Also the links never seem to work -- although icelandic my image basically says link invalid.
I've never ever got a connection to this link and I remember a user Huisingro (or similar) who was also pushing this product before he was effectively removed.
Cheers

Post a picture of your Windows XP Explorer screen so we can see what hardware you have. I don't know much about VM Lite but you may be able to copy the folder and files to a USB thumb drive or CD under Windows 7 then open the the drive under VM Lite. Other than that, your best source of support for VM Lite will be from VM Lite.
Here's a shot of my Windows Explorer under MS VM-XP. Note that the "Local Drive (C: )" is the XP C: drive and that "DVD Drive (D: ) is also available to the XP machine. I can also elect to assign a USB drive to XP but I don't think VM-Lite supports USB of any kind. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built 2/11/2011 OS Windows 7 Pro-x64 CPU i7-2600 3.4GHz - 3.8GHz Turbo Motherboard Intel DH67BL-B3 Memory 8Gb - 2x4GB, Muskin 991770 PC3-1333 Graphics Card Integrated Intel HD 2000 Sound Card Integrated Intel 10.1 HD, RealTek ALC892 Monitor(s) Displays Asus LCD VH222H, Haier HL24XSL2a Screen Resolution 1920x1080, 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech EX100 Wireless Mouse Logitech EX100 Wireless PSU Seasonic 650W 80+ Gold Modular Case Rosewill Defender Cooling Stock CPU, Four 120mm case fans, PCH fan added Hard Drives Crucial C300-128Gb,
