Port Forwarding in Virtual Machines e.g RDP to different VM's

Hi all
This is a very useful facility -- this method works for vmware workstation -- there is a similar facility in VBOX but I haven't tried it yet.

For example you can use this for RDP to different VM's

First ensure you are using NAT for the networking.

now read the following

Port Forward in VMware Workstation when Using NAT

For workstation 8 the screen is slightly different == before powering on the VM chose edit==>virtual network editor

then scroll down to vmnet8 NAT
then click LAN settings

Diagrams enc.

Have fun and a great New Year

Cheers
