| | How to install software for XP mode? I have just created XP mode in my windows 7 machine. I am trying to learn how to use XP Mode. I have a few WinXP-software (which does not work in widows 7). How to instal the sofware within XP mode? |

| | Boot up the Windows XP machine, put in the cd and it should just map through. If it doesn't, you can usually put the software on a USB key and connect the USB key to the computer. Finally, you can use shared folders between the XP host and the Windows 7 machine and copy the installation files over to the XP virtual machine. |

| | after your new software installed on windows xp you can directly run via win 7 program files menu and no need to run it inside xp . i think xp will run in background. |
