How can I configure VPC to run aduna Autofocus?

Hello, I am in the forum for the first time and hope to have landed in the right place. I have the following problem: I use the desktop search engine Aduna autofocus 2005.1 under XP/SP3 and under VMWare/XP. Now I have migrated my notebook to Windows7 Ultimate. And I do not succeed to get autofocus to run under VirtualPC XP-mode environment. I have configured the VPC to use 2 GB of RAM. The Processexplorer shows that the processes autofocus and java run. But the application GUI doesn't start. What is wrong? What kind of mistake I made? I don't want to remove the VPC because I want to use the comfort of the virtuell application.
Many thanks for your answers and notes
