VirtualBox - How to configure for other OS ?

    Hello.

I'm new here and have one question about VirtualBox.
I used VMware Workstation (trial) and I don't have any problem.
But that is too expensive for me.

I want to try some OS like Windows 8 , Linux and etc.
For first Guest OS , I tried DOS 7.10. I tried it on VMware too
and don't had problems. When I insert ISO image and run Install ,
on first step I always got CPU errors. A lot of errors.

On VMware Workstation I had only problem with Long Mode Support
(when I want to run 64-bit Guest) and that is all.

How to install and configure VirtualBox to work with all OS ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Have a look at this user manual: https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/UserManual.html

Keep in mind, you can use VMWare Player, which is free, and it can create VM's and it works well. So, if you are used to using VMWare, there is a free alternative to paying for Workstation.
