XP Program not working in XP Mode - MFC71.DLL was not found

Hi. I now have Virtual PC and XP Mode running on my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machine.

However, when i run my winXP program i get the following message on start-up:

“This application has failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”

When I click OK I get the following message:

“Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id=0xb84(2948), Thread id=0xb88(2952)”

So far i have tried reinstalling, uninstalling and reinstalling again.

The program worked fine on my old winXP PC - unfortunately that PC went 'belly up' a few days ago...

Can you help?

Thanks,
