    I dont find VMWare-Hosted.exe in VMWARE tools folder in guest.

    Why are you using NAT, NAT will translate the address and address a seperate VLAN from the other workstation.

    I use bridged on mine, my VM's consist of Server 2003 ENT (DC), and 2 XP workstations.

    I used the NAT on mine and had issues with them talking accross seperate VLANS, try bridged and see what happens.

I want to install windows 8 64-bit in VMware Workstation but it wont work. HELP ME!:(
i have compaq cq61-303sv with 3 GB RAM,2.2 C2D processor and 320 HD,having Windows 7 ultimate .i try to install vmware workstation 7,6.5,5.5.all version are installed well and their services are displayed in 'services' and i create virtual machine and start it .when i restart my physiacl computer...

Hi all W7 x-64 host 4GB RAM dual core 2.3 ghz cpu. Host CPU usage with 1 XP pro SP3 2GB Virtual machine running a file copy of a 2GB file. Host machine not running any other app. Virtual Box 24% Vmware workstation 19% Vmware server 11%. Now this shouldn't be taken as a rigorous...
