Network File System

I want to implement the following at my company.

There is a domain controller in the network and all the users in the domain can login to any machine in the domain.

But What I need is like a NFS (Network File System), which is when a user login to a computer , he should have all his files. So whenever he login to any computer in the domain, he will have the files in his computer and he should feel like he is on his local machine. I know this is possible as I have seen it in my university network.

I want to implement this in my office. Can anyone please help me out?

I believe you are talking about roaming profiles:
How to configure a user account to use a roaming user profile in Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT 4.0

Do a search of "roaming profiles"

Thank you. That helped a lot. I guess that's what I am trying to achieve.

Do you have any idea about the following. If all the users in my domains needs a software, for example MS Office, I should be installing it on the server and all the users should be able to use MS Office when they login to any computer in the domain.

Do you know how to do this?

Silvakishanv, welcome to the windows 7 forum.

The licensing for Microsoft office is per individual machine and it has to be installed on each of the computers where it is being used.

There are some options for installing on a Terminal server the microsoft office products but that requires the users to use the remote desktop to the terminal server. With licensing being expensive. It is probably cheaper to purchase the ms office products for each computer.
