Microsoft Hypervisor Server 2012 - Migrate away from ESX
Currently I have a ESX / Hypervisor environment. I have to SAN (CX4-120) on the same fabric. I want to convert from ESX to Hypervisor for cost savings. If I want to move data from one SAN to the other SAN, like vMotion or move a VM from one side to the other, do I need a direct fiber connection between the SAN Switches or can I do that over the network?
What we are ultimately trying to do is migrate off ESX and move over to Hypervisor for cost savings.
Thanks in advance.
