A little while ago I made a little tutorial on how to install Win7 (or any other OS) in vBox (and virtual PC). It may come in handy. I recommend vBox - it is really great. Allocate 1GB of Ram for the virtual partition and 25 to 40GB of disk space (depending how much you want to do with that system). If you have 3 or 4 GB of RAM, you won't even notice an impact on the host system. And the beauty is that you can switch between the 2 systems with 1 click.
