Mounting on Virtual Drives

I've tried Virtual Mounting using at least 5 diIfferent software programs, MagicISO, VirtualCLone, etc. I have been trying to mount a BIN file to install a program, but no matter what program I use I can't seem to get it to Mount correctly. I right click on the program, click on "Mount" on one of the drives, but not once did it work. What do I have to do to get a BIN file to mount correctly? I followed a few different youtube videos explaining just how to do it, but I have yet to get it to work. When I click on the file again it gives the option to unmounts, so I assume it might be mounted, but going the what used to be called "my computer" and look at the virtual drives and there is nothing there. What do I have to do?

Hello Ibby14 and welcome to SevenForums

It sounds as if there may be a problem with the file you're trying to mount rather than the software you're trying to mount it with. What program are you trying to install? Where did you get the .BIN file?

It's supposed to be an install file for a video capture program.

Hi Ibby4,

Okay, thanks, but what's the program called, and where did you get this .BIN file from?

Mounting virtual disk triggers UAC
Hi, I'm running Daemon Tools Lite, and have a conceptual problem. If I create a virtual disk, and then mount an .iso image of an OS on it, and then click on setup.exe to install the virtual OS, Win7 triggers a UAC warning. I don't understand why anything happening on the virtual disk would be...

A question about Virtual Hard Drives????
Hi, I plan to create a VHD or virtual hard drive inside my alternate disk partition (D:). Let's say, I make a 15GB VHD, can I really boot an operating system from it??? Or is it possible to keep a system image backup in it that I can then make a recovery from in case my system fails????

Virtual disks (iso mounting software) doesn't install?
Build 6078. Alcohol 120% = Keeps restarting after it asks to restart during installation. Daemon tools, as above. Anyone using a virtual drive on Win7? Edit - Virtual Clone Drive works perfectly, very lightweight also. :D
