XP Mode could not be started

It was working before, but now I get an error message that I have to enable hardware virtualization which already is.

I disabled some services earlier listed below; I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Services in Windows 7 that can be Safely set to Disabled or Manual and speed up Windows 7

I also changed the number of processors to 4 in the Boot options.

I don't like how that site doesn't fully explain the functions of some of the things you're disabling.

Try enabling everything and see if it works. Then go to this site which has better instructions and explanations for what you're disabling.

Edit: That site tells you to put everything in manual and not completely disable them. You should use "services.msc" instead of "msconfig" to disable or put services in manual. That could be the problem!

I think what causes it is that it doesn't work when waking up from sleep. I kept restarting the computer earlier and that didn't work. I did a complete shut down and then started the computer again, that seems to fix have fixed it.

Yeah, my XP mode had weird problems too. Now everything seems ok for some reason.
