Can't uninstall Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on a Dell Inspiron 1545, Intel Pentium dual-core CPU, T4300.

I am trying to uninstall Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode but I'm unable to.

When I tried to uninstall from Control Panel / Programs, I could only find Windows XP Mode listed. Although I uninstalled this, I can still find it in the All Programs list.

As for Windows Virtual PC, I couldn't find it either under Control Panel nor through Revo.

Is there a way I can manually uninstall these?

Thanks
Simon

Hello Simon, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Even though you uninstalled XP-Mode from "Programs and Features", the "Windows Virtual PC" Windows Update will still include a entry for it in the Start Menu All Programs area by default. It would be there even if you did not install XP-Mode.

Since "Windows Virtual PC" is considered a Windows Update and not a program, you must uninstall the Windows Update below to do so.

Hope this helps,
