VM-ing my Home PCs?

I have 3 independent computers running 7 that I use for specific independent tasks. is it possible to take an image of each and run them exactly the way they are from some sort of machine located at my home and then run each virtual image from anywhere?

Do you have Windows 7 Ultimate/Enterprise? If you do, you can clone the disk/partition to a vhd file and native boot it. Why run it inside a vm where it's being emulated when you can run it like a real PC (non-emulated)?

To run them all at the same time as clearly stated. Your solution would only have one running at a time.

Wouldn't it be better to run one of them natively and the other two inside a VM than have all 3 VM's running on one additional host operating system?
