Vmware uninstalled, problem with ram allocation

hey i recently uninstalled vmware, but half my ram is still allocated to the virtual pc, which means my laptop now sucks, i only have 512mb ram anyway. Can someone let me know how to get my ram back? thanks in advance =)

Open task manager, and see if any vmware .exe are running. If there are it didnt get uninstalled. Also by default Auto boot of the vm is disabled, meaning you have to manually change the vm to auto boot, unless you did that It should be allocated at start up.

On the other hand this forum is for windows 7 so technical help will be based to windows 7.

You may want to try vmwares forums, They would be more suited to help you.
