How to find the missing space in the disk.

1. In my windows 7 virtual pc i have an 80 GB hard disk which is completely allocated for c drive,
but surprisingly my c drive capacity shows only 30GB. There is no unallocated space on the disk.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

Please find the attached screen shot.

Since it is Linux and KVM maybe you should actually look in Linux forums, however, is your virtual HDD file 80GB in size? Many of these apps use a dynamic harddisk file (where it will increase in size when needed up until the max you have set).

The disk is a thick provisioned, not thin provisioned. I see Windows7.qcow2 (kvm file for windows7) as 80 GB

Missing disk space in new internal hard drive
Hi All, I just purchased a new internal hard drive (Seagate Barracuda hard drive - 3 TB - SATA-600) to be used for storing data. Installation was simple, and Disk Management noticed it right away, with 1 problem: The free space is 743.48 GB, not the 3000 or so I was expecting. Disk Manager says it...

Hello everyone. I have an HP Pavilion DV6 with a 600 GB hard disk (Windows 7 Home Premium). Last weekend I tried to create a new partition, so I can save some of my files in case I have to re-install the OS or another issue. Anyways I started the process, right click on C, clicked on "shrink...

Missing 50GB of Disk Space
Hi, when I go to My Computer, it says that the C: drive is only 122GB. When I right click on the my computer shortcut and click on manage, the disk analyser thing says the C: drive is 170GB (roughly). That's a lot of unused space on a 250GB hard drive. I just recently resized the C: partition...
