Enable right click " set as default printer" local GPO

Hi,

I'v created a windows 7 64 bit virtual machine with 2 users:
1. root- administrator
2. user- the user is restricted with GPO rules.
the VM machine isn't a part of a domain sow the GPO is a local one.
I couldn't find the rule in GPO to enable right click " set as default printer".

Regards,

Michel vaillancourt

You could perhaps change permission to that registry key to read only after setting it up.

Disable the Default Printer Option - Forums - CNET has some discussion but not sure if any would help you.
