virtualBox installation

Greetings,
I would like to install Virtual Box 5.0 on host windows 7 ultimate so that I shall install linux ubuntu on Virtual Box.
After collecting some information, I learnt installation of Virtual Box causes loss of internet connection.
I only want to obtain some experience with Linux Ubuntu, I can prevent from network adapter installation.Does this affect on Virtual Box 5.0 ? and how could I make internet connection if I install network adapter, because I plan to install 2 more virtual boxes with a webserver and a data base on each of them, making connection between VMs and also internet connection shall be necessary.
I use ADSL with telephone line to connect to internet.
thanks ahead

Internet connection is only interrupted briefly during installation of VirtualBox, then immediately restored.

So there will be no problem regarding that, I follow necessary steps required as defaults in the wizard, If you think there are other things I should consider kindly let me know.
many thanks
