Virtual Win7 guest - how to

I've been using VMLite Workstation (freeware version) for some years now with XP Pro Mode (32-bit) as a guest.
The host is Win 7 Pro 64-bit, all functioning 100% I prefer VMLite because of the snapshots option.

With the free version of VMLite it supports maximum three VMs to run simultaneously.
I've got my original Win 7 Pro 64-bit disk but also downloaded a registered legitimate iso file.

Nowhere can I find a guide how to install it within VMLite, a total mystery. Somebody must have done this before?
I do not care about a slipstream setup and will install all updates once up and running.

Anybody here tried it before or know where I can find such a guide?

Thanks

I use the free VMware Player. If you want to try that, see here : Virtual OS Tutorial - Install, Setup and Operate
