I've been playing with Vbox. Just downloaded VM player the other day to give it a play. Vista runs much snappier in Player, but I don't see any way to mount a VHD (I just may not have found it yet). The nice thing about Vbox is that I can create a VHD of my system partition(s) and then boot it in Vbox. Haven't checked yet to see if workstation is capable of that.
