    Hi there
does the HOST get connected to the Internet.

For VM's you have to enable either Bridged or NAT networking -- ensure the Virtual network adapter is working

I don't know about vbox but under vmware it's the vmware tools that ensures this works -- it might be "additions" or something under VBOX.

Normally networking VM's is no problem.

    Cheers

Hi Thanks for the reply, yes the host which is My main OS Win 7 is working normally and it connects to internet, issue is only with VM. The NAT networking is enabled in the Virtual box. Is it a common issue with Win 7 that it does not allow VM to work on internet and some special settings needs to be done????

    Hi there
if NAT doesn't work try Bridged.

Normally Networking and Internet access from a Virtual Machine present no problem.
