The MUSTEK 1200 USB Plus works well on Vista & Win 7.

    Plays up on Win XP.

download latest driver which is not available via normal support page ftp://ftp.mustek.com.tw/pub/driver/1.../98-XP/12LV20/

..you just have to pause during installation when the "language choose menu" appear. Connect your scanner and the windows would do the rest

Note: if you've attempt to install it before. Go to "Device Manager" and uninstall troubleshooted hardware..which is your scanner then disconnect it and then reconnect it again

Mustek 1200 UB Plus Windows 7 Driver

@potretma look all I know is that it works..because the driver is originally a file no more than a Mega byte be it any device..the reason the driver download is bigger is the interface UI

So all you really do in our little case here is that you trick the installer which won't continue anyway..

Wait a second why do all that? when you could download the driver directly -which I got it from the "Temp<Windows" Folder..

1- download attachment "Mustek 1200 UB Plus Driver.zip" > extract it to "Mustek 1200 UB Plus Driver" at desktop

2- click "Start" > type "Device Manager" > click "Enter" > from the menu bar choose "Action" and click "Scan for hardware changes" > right click "Unknown device" > click "Update Driver Software" > choose "Browse my computer for driver software" > browse to "Mustek 1200 UB Plus Driver" on desktop > click "Next"

    3- Enjoy XD
