    I'm beginning to think I'm wasting my time trying to get this great little scanner to work under windows 7 pro 64 bit, Think it might be a lot easier to get a new one and flog this one on ebay!!!

    seems a shame though when its a perfectly good printer, would anyone thats got it working on win 7 pro 64 bit be prepared to go through installation with my in team-viewer?

    Well I faced this problem yesterday and today and no solution seems to work except changing either the OS or the scanner. Waste of time...

    I can recommend Vuescan works a treat with my Agfa scanner
    Here is a free universal scanner, there is also a paid upgrade to a standard and pro version. Not tried it myself but heard good things about it if you JUST need to scan something once in a while.
